Cooper International Academy is a college preparatory program dedicated to bridging the gap between secondary and higher education for student-athletes. Our approach combines academics, athletics, and personal development to prepare every player for success in college and beyond.
Guiding the Program
ERIC COOPER Sr.
Coach Eric is a former Division I student-athlete and longtime professional basketball player with decades of coaching experience. Throughout his career, he has led championship-winning teams and developed numerous student-athletes who have advanced to Division I college programs and professional careers, including the NBA. His passion for player development, leadership, and mentorship has made him a respected figure in the basketball community.
ERIC COOPER Jr.
Eric Jr. is a former Pepperdine Division I student‑athlete who played under four Division I head coaches and transitioned into coaching and basketball operations at the Division I level, including staff experience at Loyola Marymount University; he brings player perspective and expertise in player development, scouting/film analysis, team operations, and recruiting support.
EBONY COOPER
Ebony is a high-level collegiate athlete with extensive experience in coaching and basketball operations. She brings exceptional leadership, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting student-athletes both on and off the court. With a background in finance, Ebony also plays a key role in managing the internal operations of Cooper International Academy, helping ensure the organization's continued success and growth.
